Our Team of Experts

Jeff Buttolph

President / Founder

Jeff founded the business in 2014 and, with the help of his team, has been working hard to see his vision come to life.  We are doing a great thing for the community and have built a 5 star reputation around our business model.  A lot of friendships are made in our relaxed atmosphere and that is something our team is very proud of.

Alan Alfonso

Manager / Head Archery Coach

Alan is a level 3 certified USA Archery instructor.  He teaches our advanced JOAD archery class.  Alan also coaches adults one on one.  He is the store manager also and is responsible for most of the product buying. Alan is also a semi-pro tournament Bass fisherman. You can get the local scoop from his YouTube channel.  Alan is our leader and a great asset to our team.

Daren Brown

Archery Coach /  Tech

Daren came to us with a quite an impressive resume as a retired helicopter pilot for the US marine Corps. Daren has a love for bowhunting, fishing and wing shooting.  He coaches our beginner JOAD Class as a level 2 USA Archery certified instructor. Daren is also one of our very skilled archery  technicians and can tune your bow and teach you proper technique during a one on one lesson.

Doug Beverly

Archery Tech / Sales

Doug is one of the longest members of the team.  He has been with us part time since 2017.  Doug is an avid outdoorsman and his passion is in running his dogs.  Whether they are chasing deer or retrieving ducks or doves, you can be sure if you catch him in the woods his lab will be close by his side, but his hounds might be in the next zipcode.

Carson Taylor

Archery Coach

Carson has many years of USA Archery Tournament experience under her belt.  She assists both Daren and Alan in instructing JOAD classes.  She has a great connection with kids.  Carson is also a valuable member of our team from the clerical side, helping out with inventory, and point of sale.

Roland Buttolph

Sales

Roland is retired and working part time.  He has been an avid outdoorsman his entire life.  In his 70s he still enjoys hunting and fishing.  His personality brings a family friendly atmosphere and comradery to the shop.  You will usually catch him on the weekends greeting customers, stocking shelves, filling bait buckets and ringing customers out.  He has the "old school" work ethic that is hard to find these days, and self motivation keeps him busy.

Austin Heywood

Archery Tech / Sales

Austin is the newest member of our group.  He is a graduate of our youth JOAD Archery program and is a quick learner.  Austin is an avid outdoorsman and we are grateful to have him on our team.
